Jon McGrory founded McGrory Asset Planning Services in 2023 with a simple idea: insurance should work for the client, not the carrier.
Before starting MAPS, Jon worked as an Allstate agent and learned the industry from the inside. The captive model came with real limitations, one carrier, one set of products, and little room to truly shop on a client's behalf. That experience made it clear that independence was the only way to deliver the kind of advice and service people deserve.
Today, MAPS works with a broad network of carriers across personal lines, life insurance, and commercial coverage. That means more options, more competitive pricing, and recommendations based on fit, not sales quotas.
Based in West Chester, Pennsylvania and licensed in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware, MAPS takes a straightforward, client-first approach. Our approach is simple: provide choice, deliver clarity, and keep it simple.
